Peppery and spicy elemi opens the composition and hints at the fragrant secrets that await us. Cedar, warm and woody labdanum and a hint of jasmine fill the heart notes to prepare a grand entrance for the character strong protagonist. Woody-resinous oud with fine sharp notes shows its face, accompanied by sandalwood and a harmonious blend of ambergris and musk.

The Inspiration

Mysterious Oud reflects the enormous appeal of agarwood that Sophie Chabaud experienced during her travels through the Arabian Peninsula. She has created an equally feminine as well as masculine fragrance that is filled with secret images – noble, cultivated and hypnotic.
